Cecilie is a dedicated, long-time practitioner of yoga

She teaches Vinyasa yoga, Restorative yoga, and yoga Nidra.

For Cecilie the vinyasa yoga asana practice is a moving meditation.

The breath becomes the guide to consciously move the body and place it in a specific position. Through this rhythm of breath and movement a natural flow occurs.

This enables the mind to become still, if only for just some minutes, and we can become the observer of our thoughts, sensations and emotions.

This is what she invites her students to experience on and off the yoga mat.

Combining a vigorous vinyasa practice with the benefits of the deeply relaxing restorative and nidra practices creates a perfect combination to balance out our challenging and stressful lifestyle.

Vinyasa

The style of yoga Cecilie teaches is a Dynamic Vinyasa Flow. A vinyasa class is different every time and utilizes alignment, mindful transitions and challenging peaks.

Vinyasa, is a breath-initiated practice, that connects every action of our life with the intention of moving towards what is sacred, or most important to us.

Restorative & Yoga Nidra

Restorative Yoga is a slow, grounding and relaxing yoga practice.  The aim is to completely relax the body, so as to release tension from the physical body, mind and emotions. It requires no effort on the part of the practioner.

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that brings the practitioner into a state of deep relaxation. When the physical, emotional and mental body is completely relaxed it slows down the parasympathetic nervous system thus releasing latent stress and tension from the body.
